| What is the recruitment process for a graduate applying for work with your organisation and what core competencies do you look for? | Applicants are required to complete an online application form, if they are successful with this they then go through to a telephone interview. This usually lasts for approximately 15 minutes and they are looking for customer service and sales ability. They also ask why the applicant wants to join the company, what they feel they can bring to the role and their own career goals. They are also interested in finding out what their job preferences are and offer 5 choices : IT, finance, Admin, Customer Service and Sales. Because of the nature of the role they are ideally interested in candidates who are looking for sales and customer service as their top preference.
Successful telephone interviews will then be put forward for an assessment centre which will be mainly group exercises focused on the job role. There won't be any tests but all group work. The assessment centres usually last a full day.
The last stage of the interview process is a face to face interview with the relevant recruiting Branch Manager and a branch visit.
The main things that they look for in their candidates are the following core competencies:
Sales
Customer Service
Flexibility
Work ethic
Communication skills
Leadership
All applicants must also hold a driving license or they will not be considered |
