What is involved in your recruitment process?Local newspaper, Through an agency, Graduate Link
How does your organisation ensure a good work-life balance?All overtime required by the company is discussed in advance and incorporates the knowledge that employees may not always be available. Weekend work again is a choice, but is available for those who prefer. Additionally flexible working hours are available to all employees to fit around other commitments.
How are people inducted into your organisation? How long is the process?People are asked to send their CV initially. If we are happy with what we see, then respondents will be invited for an interview. Then we ask the employee to return for a second and final interview. The overall process from CV to being fully recruited normally takes around 2 - 4 weeks.
How does the organisation embrace employees to make them feel part of the team?The company organises a number of social outings including: pool night and other events. This encourages employees to get to know each other in an informal environment. The company also holds an annual Christmas party, which is always a huge success.
What kind of training do you provide for new starters within the organisation?Depending on position the company will pay for all relevant training and courses which will be beneficial within an individual's work. We also offer day release to college in some positions within the firm.
What benefits/rewards are offered by the organisation?Employees receive paid overtime. Bonus schemes run twice yearly, when a project is complete under budget. After two years of working in the company we also offer a stake in company shares.
