Please give details of your experience?I worked part-time as a HC Assistant in a Hospital in Sheffield and as a citizens advisor while I was at university.
How useful did you find this work experience when it came to find a job after graduating?I found the work-experience very useful and good as it was relevant to my course and it gave me a taste of the field I would be working in after university.

What responsibilities do you hold?My responsibilities involve helping patients with their personal needs while they are undergoing treatment.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?I enjoy helping people a lot. As this is an integral part of the job I enjoy almost every aspect of this job.
What do you enjoy the least?I least enjoy being talked down to as I am not as qualified complared to a Medic or a Nurse.

If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan?I want to be involved in housing and neighbour regeneration and also be involved in a lot of volunteer work.
When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I have always known what I wanted to do and I am working towards that goal.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? Yes, the application forms that I was required to hand-in were like essays and employers hire people with a lot of work-experience.
What do you wish you had known before you started applying for jobs? That I needed to be creative in filling in the application forms as the employers are looking for specefic skils.
What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?I would advise future applicants to get careeres advice and help in filling up applciation forms.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.I would have liked to do more voluntary work in the Housing field while I was at University.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?I do not feel the degree alone has helped me very well as employers prefer relevant work experience along with the degree.
