How useful did you find this work experience when it came to find a job after graduating?I was already employed full time before graduating, therefore this work experience was of little use.

What responsibilities do you hold?I am responsible for overseeing any building regulations.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?I enjoy working in the office because I get to see my friends everyday and I get to know a lot of new information that I would not have gained, had I not been in the office.
What do you enjoy the least?I feel there is too much administration work in my job sometimes. Some of it is necessary, but most of it seems like a waste of time.
What was involved in the recruitment process for this job?I was invited to a formal interview for the post.

When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I started thinking about what I wanted to do after graduation, years ago. I feel I had just enough time to make necessary plans for the future.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? I had no difficulties in finding work what so ever.
What do you wish you had known before you started applying for jobs? I wish I had known how much responsibility was involved in the job. Sometimes I welcome the challenge and other times it worries me.
What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?I would tell them to not be put off by the work involved.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.I would have perhaps tried to gain more experience in the field prior to starting the degree. This way I could have applied experience to theory and so on.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?I feel my degree has prepared me very well for the market. I dont think I could have done the job without the degree.
