What responsibilities do you hold?I am responsible for running building projects.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?I really enjoy the responsibility that comes along with this position. I also enjoy the amount of control I have over the projects I work on.
What do you enjoy the least?The workload is very heavy at times and it sometimes results in stressful situations.
What was involved in the recruitment process for this job?I had a personal contact at the company, which meant that I didnt have to take part in the recruitment process.

If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan?My main aim at present is to gain more work experience in this field. I then plan to go on to study for a Masters.
When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I started thinking about what I wanted do on completion of my degree in my first year at university.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? I didn't experience any problems in finding work after I graduated, due to the personal contacts I had developed whilst doing my degree.
What do you wish you had known before you started applying for jobs? I wish I had known the workload that was involved in my current job. It may have been the case, that if I had known beforehand, I may not have accepted the position.
What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?I would advise anyone applying for jobs at present to be positive and not to compromise on the job you want.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.I would have used the careers service a lot more frequently, as I feel I missed out on valuable information that would have helped me plan for the future.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?I feel my degree prepared me very well for the labour market today, however, I do realise that the market does change and I will therefore need to keep updating my skills accordingly.
