How useful did you find this work experience when it came to find a job after graduating?I found this placement very useful when it came to finding a job after graduation. I enjoyed the placement so much that I went back to the organisation on completion of my degree.

What responsibilities do you hold?At the moment I am responsible for designing a £28 million prison building.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?I enjoy the money aspect of this job.
What do you enjoy the least?I have to work late a lot of the time, in order to get projects completed in time for deadlines given.
What was involved in the recruitment process for this job?As I had previously worked for the company on my years work placement, I gained the job through simply contacting them in my final year at university.

When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I started thinking about what I wanted to do years ago, before I even came to university. I feel I left plenty of time to help me plan my future career path.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? I found no problems in finding work after graduation, due to the advantage of being able to go back to my placement organisation.
What do you wish you had known before you started applying for jobs? I feel I was well prepared for the job application process.
What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?I would advise them to try hard when applying for jobs and to keep positive if things are not going the way they expected.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.If I could go back and do my degree all over again I would definitely work harder.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?Overall, I feel my degree has prepared me very well for the expectations of today's employers.
