How useful did you find this work experience when it came to find a job after graduating?I haven't had to look for a job. I started working for my masters supervisor immediately after my course finished

What responsibilities do you hold?Carrying out research. Responsible for the progress of work and some decisions on where it should lead. Currently drafting research papers for publication.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?It's interesting. I'm using skills I've learned and practised.

What was involved in the recruitment process for this job?I asked my supervisor for a summer job and she offered me work until Christmas at least
Do you feel you have a career plan?Yes
If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan?Getting experience in publishing (writing research papers). Experience in chemistry and practical work. Gaining experience in a scope of areas including microbiology.
When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I asked for this job to allow me time to think. Presently I'm thinking of publishing but I'm not experienced enough. I should have thought about it earlier!

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? No. But I'm not really in a contracted, salary paid job.

What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?Decide what to aim for, then take steps to achieve it by getting experience or doing voluntary work.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.Decided earlier what i was interested in and done some volunteer work at the student newspaper.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?Well. I'm skilled and have shown to work well under pressure and apply logic and order to a situation.
