Please give details of your experience?Worked for The AA and as a lifeguard for Haven in France. Voluntary work as a helper for a Brownie pack and worked in a charity shop.
How useful did you find this work experience when it came to find a job after graduating?I think it made my C.V stand out from others and gave me something to talk about at interviews.

What responsibilities do you hold?Issuing equipment data sheets. Performing heat and material balances.
What do you enjoy the most about this job?It can be challenging and the salary is good.
What do you enjoy the least?The culture of the business is very rigid and you are expected to work long hours. I don't have much interaction with other people.

If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan?I attend to get some experience here and then move to a less technical and more people based role.
When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? I started applying early in my last year, but I didn't know what i wanted to do. I applied to a variety of different companies in different industries. I should have researched more about the roles of each job rather than just apply for everything.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? No I managed to get a job before I left university
What do you wish you had known before you started applying for jobs? To not rush into accepting a job that wasn't right.
What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?Think carefully about what you want to do and don't rush into accepting a job if you are unsure. Do lots of research and try to speak to unbiased people who are already doing the job.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.Maybe tried to get some relevant experience during the summer vacation.
How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market?I don't think any degree can really prepare you for the labour market. I believe it just demonstrates that you are capable of learning up to a certain level.
