Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? | I knew once I started training to be a nurse that I wanted to progress fairly rapidly to a post where I was able to make more of an impact, as the course I studied was very specific there was definitely enough time. |

| Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? | No difficulties but felt pressurised by clinical staff to remain in the trust where I had trained. I made my own decision and accepted a post away from my training base. |

| What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now? | Consider posts that offer you the opportunity to rotate to different areas so as to broaden your key skills and knowledge. |
| Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details. | Not that I can think of. |
| How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market? | I returned to complete my degree soon after completing my advanced diploma I feel that there is less pressure placed upon me to do the courses the trust I work in want me to do as a result and I am able to develop myself on the courses that interest me. |
