Please give details of your experience?Worked part time as a life model at local museum to earn some pocket money. Did a week of unpaid work experience during 1st year at Architectural model making company to improve model making skills.

If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan?It is work experience before I return to university to do my diploma in Architecture and complete my training.
When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? Architecture was my chosen degree - it was obvious where I would go on to. I couldn't be bothered to change my mind - it's easy to follow the prescribed path. I am glad I took this route, it's nice to know where you are going.

Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? Nothing. I was very well prepared by Sheffield University for the job application process. CV workshops; interview techniques etc.

What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now?In Architecture: A simple, graphic CV with a few fantastic images - don't be afraid to use the best ones, you can put them in your portfolio as well. Information laid out clearly, don't be too fancy but be a little imaginative so they will remember you. Put all important information on the front page. Send CV to as many practices as possible - to save effort call them all up beforehand to see if they have any vacancies.
Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details.i would have worried less, I worried a lot and it was unnecessary. I would have got my applications in during June, rather than September
