| What do you enjoy the most about this job? | The challenge. I have recently moved into this position from an accountancy practice. |

| What was involved in the recruitment process for this job? | A recruitment consultant rang me with details of the position. I had two interviews, and a financial test during the second interview. |

| If so, how does your current situation fit into this plan? | Very well. This is my first position as an accountant in industry which is where I want to be, i.e. to progress within a large company. |
| When did you start thinking about what you wanted to do after graduation? Thinking back did you leave enough time for this? | All the way through university. I started looking at potential employers in my first semester of my final year. Yes, I did leave enough time. |

| Did you experience any difficulties when it came to finding work after graduation? If yes, please describe some of the problems you faced? | No, I had a job offer in my first semester of my final year which I accepted. |

| What advice would you give to someone applying for jobs now? | Start early. Talk to people doing what you want to do, and think about your future ambitions. Plan well for interviews! |
| Would you have done anything differently while at university to prepare for your career? Please give details. | Read more newspapers and kept up to date with current affairs. |
| How do you feel your degree has prepared you for today's labour market? | Fairly well, but I don't think education can always prepare you for a 'business' career. Experience is more valuable. |
